Prestbury Phantoms Coaches

We have over 90 coaches across the club, largely dedicated to specific age groups.  There is at least one FA qualified coach per age group in our Academy, and all league managers are FA qualified.  All coaches have DBS clearance and we encourage everyone to attend First Aid courses and FA Child Protection seminars.

Our coaches are a critical part of the Phantoms Family.  They are a very friendly and approachable bunch.  All their contact details are on the relevant team pages, should you wish to find out more about an age group.

If you think that you could give up a few hours a week of your time so that kids get access to grassroots sports, we would love to hear from you!  No previous experience is necessary, you just need lots of enthusiasm.

Here's what you get when you become part of the Prestbury Phantoms coaching team:

- A full macron coaching kit (purchased by the club at no expense to you)

- Sponsorship through the FA courses should you wish to do them

- Full support of more experienced and qualified coaches to introduce you to the coaching process

- All equipment (footballs, cones, goals, speed poles, whistles, flags and anything else that you might think of!)

The only thing that we ask is that you pay your own DBS fee (£10), and that you are able to make a reasonable commitment to coaching.  This does not have to be every week, but the kids get used to having familiar faces, so if you could only coach one week in six, this probably would not work.   If you are interested in coaching and want more information, please either contact the manager of the age group you are interested in or e-mail lisa.roberts@prestburyphantoms.co.uk
